Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actress. She made her debut in 1983 as a character in Bad Boys. Later she joined the Bratpack band and was a star in WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury (the nephew of Angela Lansbury) on April 12,1992. The actor is also the son of Edgar Lansbury, who was initially the director of Godspell. Beckett (born at the age of 14 in the year 1994) is the child of the couple. Sheedy claimed that she learned a great deal from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy is an American actress and author. She was born on June 13, 1962. Her most notable roles are the lead actress in Brat Pack's film The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club by John Hughes: Why? It's the Next Generation. Sheedy is currently an educator. Sheedy teaches acting classes in New York City at City College.
