Yael Stein was born in Australian and lives in New York City since 2013, played Lorna Morrello in Orange Is the New Black. Yael graduated from NIDA. Yael despite her youthful years, has had the opportunity to learn from the most famous storytellers in Australia. Yael enjoys a rich career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael created The Cannery with her co-founders. Based situated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the company supports new writing and innovative, creative exploits.
