Lucy Lawless is a well-known performer and actress who hails from New Zealand. She's most popularly recognized in her field for her illustrious role in several top-rated TV films and series, including Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and Spartacus: Revengeance. She is most remembered and praised for her role she played as Xena. Lucy performed the role that was originally planned to be played by Vanessa Angel. She was unfit to go for the shoot because of sickness. Her popularity as Xena led to a spin-off show which was launched in September of 1995. Lucy is now a renowned actor because of the success in the sequel. Apart from being referred to as Xena among her people, she's also renowned for her recurring roles in the hit sitcom on NBC Parks and Recreation during which she starred from 2012 until the year 2015.
